My Love

My love stands there,
almost glowing with radience,
an aura surrounding
pulsing with passion.

Her cream skin
smooth and without a blemish.
Her smile golden
her eyes shimmering.

My heart ached,
when her musical voice
murmured my name
like a prayer.

My love sits and writes,
tears profaning her cheeks.
Sobs rock through
her rose pedal lips.

I come to her
and try to protect
her from her pain,
to take her pain away.

Too late.
The poison has taken her,
diminishing her glow
dulling her eyes.

I cry.
She's gone,
forever silencing
her loving voice.

Now that, was sad. Not in the insulting way, but kind of, depressing.

Most of my poems are like that. I just don't post them.
