Scarlet stood up and walked over, her nose wrinkling when she smelled rabies. "What the heck is going on Toboe?" she asked, shakin her head.

Kiba bounded up behind Scarlet, "What is it?" He demamded.

Toboe motioned to the moose, "Go warn the alpha to make sure no one eats that." Kiba snorted, "Why?" Toboe's eyes narrowed, "Because it had rabies." Kiba was taken aback. There hadn't been rabies since he was a pup; and even then, half the pack had been wiped out.

Scarlet ignored the memories flooding in her mind as she went to go tell the Alpha there was rabies. She spoke quickly, pawing at the dirt as she spoke.

Kiba followed Scarlet, explaining to the males while she spoke to the females. "The valley must be warned," he said pleadingly. "if there is another outbreak, we might lose all the newly weds; then our pack would be doomed."

"The Pastic pack should know." Scarlet told Kiba as she walked away from the femal Alphas. "Tell the Alphas I went to warn them." she took off, too fast for anyone to try and follow her.

Kiba nodded to Scarlet and she took off. Turning back to the alpha male, he saw the concern in his face, "Go, warn the elders," he said in his great, booming voice. "I shall warn the rest." Getting up, his giant paws thundered over the grassy hill as he headed for the nursery first. Kiba took off for the elder's side of the valley.

Scarlet's paws moved quickly, running like she had the power of the moon with her. As she appraoched the lines she howled to let them know she was there. She ran in and followed the Alpha's scent to where he was. She had to warn the other pack.

Scarlet was immedietly surrounded by betas and hunters. They growled a warning and barked at her, "What do you want?"

Scarlet stopped. "Let me speak to Blaze, please. I have to tell him something." she gorlwed at them.

The betas closed in on her and the hunters stepped back, "Give your reason," the biggest white male demanded.

Scarlet growled and feetingly thought about jumping over them and running to Blaze. " Rabies. Is that reason enough for you?" she said.

The men parted and let her through, "Access granted," said the beta.

Blaze listened to Bloodfur's explanation and nodded, giving Shirina a look for her to calm down. "Thank you little one. We will be careful about what we hunt." he said, his voice sincere. "Also, I will walk you back to the border, not all of my wolves are a hospitable as my beta and the hunters."

The beta from before snorted before running back to his cave. "Some bloodfurs can't be trusted," he muttered.

Kiba returned to the alpha territory before the alpha male and smiled as Scarlet shot into the valley, "How did it go?" He asked as she came up to him.

Kiba snorted in releif, "At least they didn't rush you like they usually do," he said, trotting back to his spot under an oak tree. "now we can sleep."

Scarlet followed Kiba and laid down, yawning loudly. "Sounds good to me." she murmured.

Blaze walked back to his post next to Shirina. He growled, getting the attention of all the wolves. "Be carful with your hunts for now on. Rabies are back in the prey, and we don't have enough numbers to loose anymore." he began in a booming voice. His beta came out and glowered in his direction."You'll take the word of that puppy?" he chalenged. "Yes I will now quiet down Shard." Blaze said, glaring down at his beta. "And I also want to say, a new litter has been born. New life on the full moon is always good news." the alpha concluded, beaming at his sister, Starr.
