"My old digivice. It also works as a key to something. I'm not sure what though." Elicia said, smiling. rika cocked her head to the side.

Davis weighed the digivice in his hand. It was definitely a bit older than his, but nothing a little scrub down couldn't fix. "Ok, so where's the lock?"

Elicia shrugged. "Keep it though. I don't need it seeing as my digimon isn't tamed by me anymore." she said, smiling slightly. Rika tensed. She didn't trust the glint in Elicia's eye.

Davis shrugged and slid the thing into his pocket, "Ok, you go guard. Make sure no one sees us. We're looking at something." He was oblivious to Elicia's aoura as he lead Rika farther into the tunnel, leaving Elecia behind.

Rika walked gracefully, being sure to let her ears listen for anything out of the ordinary.

Davis walked down the hall a bit farther and crouched by a tunnel entrance, peering inside. Everyone was returning to their station and freaking out over their missing tamer. He frowned, "We need to get in that back room," he muttered quietly.

Rika smiled mischeviously. "No prob. stay here, and I mean it. If you follow me, i will kill you." she said, standing up silently.

Davis cursed repeatedly under his breath, but stayed put.

Rika took a rock out of her pocket and beamed it at one of the computers, hitting a panic button. a sencor went off and just like before everyone evacuated the room. she pranced over to davis, feeling very proud of herself.

Davis laughed and got up, smiling at her, "Genuis." He took her hand, "With good aim." Leading her deep into the back rooms, Davis crept against the wall and used his free hand to pat the wall gently. "It's around here somewhere."

rika beamed slightly before taking out a small knife from her boot and using the dull edge to take some dirt away from the wall. "was I the only one who noticed the glint in elicia's eyes earlier?" she whispered to Davis, as she exposed a little bit of metal from the dirt.

Davis stepped in and began scraping ground with his fingernails, "Glint?" He whispered back, confused. Soon there appeared to be a door in the wall, which he continued to clear.

"Geuss so. there was something there that I didn't trust." rika said, working on clearing away dirt from what seemed to be a lock.

Davis took out Elecia's digivice and twirled it in his hand, shoving it in the lock and cursing when it didn't fit. "Seems about right. She gets us to unlock this thing, and she doesn't have to. We'll just get away with the others before she notices, and poof, problem solved." He said, taking out his own digivice and sticking it in. He blinked when it fit and turned the lock slowly, ducking and pulling Rika down when it sprung open.

Davis sneezed and rubbed his nose, "Tell me about it," he coughed, waving away the rest of the dirt in the air as the cloud of dust cleared. A smooth wooden door about the size of a computer screen appeared behind the safe door, and Davis motioned for Rika to do the honors.

Rika opened the door. a small control panel was blinking. 'Sweet." she murmured.

Davis grinned, "Jackpot," he whispered, reaching over Rika and skimming his fingers over the buttons, "'Cease formula productions' first," he mumbled, pushing the blue button. "Then 'Release tamers.'" He pushed a red button. "And open 'escape hatches.' Then, 'power off.'" He finished, "Go ahead, the last button is your's."

rika pushed the button, covering her ears when she heard a shreik come from a set of speakers somewhere. It sounded like a dog whistle.

Davis grabbed Rika's wrist, slammed the safe door shut, and ran. They ran smack into a horde of digimon and lab workers, running from when the tamers were released, but didn't hesitate. He rocketed into the crowd, ducking and weaving through the people and monsters, flying out of the legs and coats and disappearing down another hallway, dragging Rika along behind him.

Davis crouched behind a big pile of dirt, not even breathing hard, and peered out at the hysteria. "We have to get the tamers outta here," he said to Rika. "But how?"

rika jumped when renamon came up behind her. "Rika, I can get them out. You and dvis get them to the exit." renamon said before jumping from behind her. "god she scares me when she does that." rika said, grabbing davis' hand and pulling him with her while she stood up and started running towards the mouth of the cave.

Davis followed her, laughing, "I was so ready for this!" He shouted, grinning, as he matched her pace.
