Kiba sighed, "I wasn't around then; so I wouldn't have known him myself." He'd come in about three years ago from being a rouge. Him and his siblings were abandoned by their mother and father, and his brothers and sisters refused to join him in this peacful pack.

"Ah," Kiba said quietly. "I'm sorry." He blinked as he caught sight of a pretty pink petunia poking out of a clump of grass by the base of a tree and smiled, "They say when you see a new flower blossoming, a new life is in motion." His eyes softened, "Maybe one of the females are carrying. Just like those boys to get restless and jump into something." He chuckled.

Toboe pricked his ears at the sound of a snapping twig and growled lowly, getting up from Cheza's sied and stalking outside. He stood at the ede of the cave and snarled to the dark, "Show yourself, hethen!"

Scarlet heard a soft snarl coming from where Cheza's den was. She looked over and saw Toboe growing at a moving bush. What the hell?

Blaze sat, looking up at the moon. He howled, calling his pack for a meeting. His mate, Shirina looked at him and stepped next to him. "What's wrong Blaze?" she asked. "I'll explain to everyone."

Toboe tackled a big brown and white speckled moose as it came charging from the woods. They fought for a minute before it fell to the ground, dead. Toboe poised over the big female, peering at her mouth. It was foaming. His eyes flew open wide and he ran back to Cheza, "Rabies," he whispered as she approached him. "We have to warn your father. That moose had rabies."
