The City of Silicon: Vampires and Werewolves

Lucia got in and glared at Ash half heartedly when he got back in on his side. "Slow butt. Werewolves aren't the only ones who live near here." she said, wincing a bit. Leaning over, she kissed Ash's cheek. "Please be more carful."

Ash shrugged and smiled, turning the car on without bothering to buckle his seatbelt, "I know. But during the mid-morning it's possible they thought they were merely imagining me."

"Not the ones around here. They flippin see huge demon wolves all the time. They know what they see." Lucia said, shaking her head.

Ash grinned cockily, "We'll be fine," he assured her as they zoomed to the gathering ceremony. "lets get there early; we can busy ourselves and not have to rush into dressing when everyone else comes last minute." Of course they would get their graduation watches - they come with a tracking device enloged in the side, button pressable you can track anything or anyone of your choice, real-world time, an empty map that fills in as you walk outside, and several other handy dandy devices instore in it - and a real graduation ceremony before they'd actually open the gates and let the young adults out into the new world.

"Great, a lot of people in one place." Lucia groaned, remembering her clostrophopia.

Ash reached over with his free hand and took her's, "We'll be alone for the most part," he explained. "Until we get up on stage. Then it's all people." He pulled up to the school in the senior parking lot ((seniors only)) and let Lucia out. "Lets head to the dressing rooms," he said, helping her out of the car.

Lucia stood, gathered her balence and followed Ash to the dressing rooms. "Still a lot of people. But I'll deal." she said, twining her fingers through Ash's.

Ash smiled as they entered the building and passed all their old classrooms. They made their way to the dressing rooms and one of Lucia's female teachers grabbed her arm as one of Ash's male teachers grabbed his, "Lets go," they chimed happily, pulling the couple apart. Ash was hustled away from Lucia too fast to object, but he was dressed and ready in no time at all. He had his hair brushed, his shoes polished, and his clothes underneath tucked in neatly under the green and gold robe he wore. Gliding out to find Lucia, he knocked on the dressingroom door, "You ok in there, Luc?" He asked through the door.

Lucia walked out, scratching at her neck. "you'd think they would get something that didn't itch." she muttered. Her purple hair was pulled into a neat braid that trailed down her back. "Stunning." she commented.

Ash smiled as she walked out, "Back at you," he pulled her close and kised her cheek. "you look beautiful," He added.

"I feel like a bag." Lucia said, pressing her lips against Ash's cheek and giggling a little.

Ash chuckled, taking her hand and leading her to the lounge to wait, "A bag?" He teased.

"this thing is itchy." Lucia said, scratching at her neck again. She sat down carfully, being carful not to mess with her side. One of the teachers threw her a concerned glance when she hissed. Moving quickly, she waved away the glance. She played with her bangs.

Ash kissed her gently, caressing her cheek with the back of his hand. "Relax," he said quietly when they pulled apart a bit. "It's only for a little while, then we're free."

"Easier said then done Ash." Lucia said as a group of chattering girls walked in.

The girls eyed Ash like they were suprised he was ou in daylight and turned up thier noses, walking snottily away. Ash smiled, "To think I've known them since kindergarden sickens me."

Lucia grinned as one of the girls turned their glare to her. She showed her now sharp teeth to her and chuckled at the frightened look that took over to glare. "Ha." she muttered.

.He wrapped an arm aroun her shoulders and hugged her, "My terrifying girlfriend," he joked.

"Only to them." Lucia said, nuzzling Ash's shoulder lightly.

The girls sat down at the juice counter. Ash smiled and kissed Lucia gently.

Lucia reruened the kiss, wrapping her arm around Ash's shoulders.

pen then and the horde of last-minutes flooded in, breaking the couple apart. Ash sheilded Lucia from swinging limbs and swaggering morons as they laughed like heinas and settled dow around them, on the floors and couches and chairs. "Damn," Ash muttered. "these guys are such piss-offs."

"They're humans, what do you expect?"Lucia chuckled, smiling a bit.

Ash bared his fangs at the nearest annoyance, who rushed away from them screaming, "And I can't beleive we have to occupy the same space as them until we settle down," he murmered t her, relaxing back beside her.

"Play nice Ash. They're fragile." Lucia said, smoothing down part of his hair that brisltled.
